You can explore the surrounding areas on foot, by car or bicycle, on horseback or with Llamas & Alpacas.  You can fish nearby, play tennis or golf, eat at the nearby Moulin de Freiteix down by the very pretty Petite Creuse, one of the two rivers that give their name to our department. This is a region rich in history with many roman churches and village crosses as well as the very interesting castles at Boussac and Villemonteix.  Monet spent many years painting in the Creuse valley, Aubusson Tapesteries and Limoges Porcelain are world famous.
