La Madeuse has a bright red and yellow theme and is a large
house of about 200 m2 on 3 floors, which has kept it's ancient style. It
is perfect for 4 couples with up to 4-5 children and a baby.
Alternatively it may be rented without the second floor for 8 persons (3
couples and 2 children) with a deduction on price of approximately 15%.
There is a very large secure private garden with a BBQ area and a
gazebo, a delightful place to while away the evening with a glass of wine
or two.
On the stone terrace there is a 'summer kitchen' with a second fridge
and sink to prepare light meals or snacks. There is also storage space
for the garden furniture, extra provisions, fishing equipment or bicycles.
The Ground Floor has an entrance, a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge
dining room with plenty of Limoges china, a Library with a games table
and 2 extra-beds, a bedroom with 2 single beds 90x200cm. Bathroom
with a shower and washbasin. Separate WC. An adjacent utility area
with washing machine, iron and ironing board. The kitchen, lounge and
library open directly onto the terrace.
The First Floor has two bedrooms, one bathroom with a bath,
washbasin and a second WC.
One bedroom has a double bed 140x190cm and a cot, the other
bedroom has a double bed 140x190cm and a child's bed 80x190cm.
The Second Floor created in 2011 offers a wonderful space under the
roof with superb beams. One large double bed 160x200cm and 2
children's beds 80x190cm as well as a wash basin and is only available
with an 8 plus 4 booking.
There is place for everyone to feel free and at ease, a large family table,
comfortable sofa to watch TV. A table in the library to play cards or
other board games, desk for correspondence , radio CD player to listen
to music, a second TV in the second floor accommodation. There are
ample tables, chairs and benches for outside use.
